Amputees & people facing limb loss
Readers looking for lived experience, useful information, products, services, resources, and practical next steps.
Weekly Editorial Newspaper
TheFor amputees who refuse to give up on life.
The Lunatic Ledger is built for amputees, people facing limb loss, families, caregivers, and allies. We offer a limited number of clearly labeled sponsorship and advertising positions designed to put relevant organizations, products, services, and resources in front of a focused community.
A defined community, not generic impressions
The Lunatic Ledger serves readers navigating the real world of limb loss: daily living, prosthetics, rehabilitation, work, travel, accessibility, relationships, technology, advocacy, costs, insurance, and the absurd moments nobody warns you about.
That creates natural opportunities for advertisers whose products or services solve real problems for this audience. We are especially interested in long-term partners that respect readers, communicate honestly, and understand that credibility matters more than hype.
A smaller, well-defined audience can be far more valuable than a large audience with no clear reason to care about your offer.
Readers looking for lived experience, useful information, products, services, resources, and practical next steps.
People helping with purchases, transportation, care decisions, home adaptations, recovery, and everyday logistics.
Professionals and organizations interested in limb-loss issues, access, rehabilitation, adaptive living, and patient experience.
Relevance comes first
Limited inventory by design
High-visibility placement immediately below the opening/front-page area. Best for an organization seeking broad association with the weekly edition.
Placed between You Can't Make This Up and Beyond the Prosthesis, separating lighter editorial content from deeper reporting.
Placed between The Practical Ledger and The Weekly Ledger. This is a natural commerce position after useful, product-oriented content.
Placed between The Unfinished Life and Reader Dispatches, after long-form human-interest content and before community participation.
Placed directly under the Community Board. Ideal for organizations, events, support resources, clinics, nonprofits, adaptive sports, and local or regional partners.
A final sponsor strip immediately above the site footer. It is intentionally placed above—not below—the footer so the footer remains the clear end of the publication.
Simple, readable, responsive
| Recommended desktop creative | Up to 970 x 250 px for primary full-width units. Compact sponsor strips may use a shallower format. |
|---|---|
| Mobile | Responsive creative is preferred. Important text and logos should remain readable at approximately 320 px wide. |
| File types | JPG, PNG, or WebP. Static creative is preferred at launch. |
| Logo | High-resolution transparent PNG or WebP when the placement uses a logo-plus-copy treatment. |
| Copy | Short headline, concise supporting text, and one clear call to action. The Ledger may request edits for clarity or fit. |
| Destination | One working landing-page URL. Tracking parameters are welcome. |
| Disclosure | Ads, sponsored messages, affiliate relationships, free products, and other material relationships are identified clearly. |
Trust is worth more than one ad sale
The Lunatic Ledger welcomes commercial support from organizations that fit the readership. That support does not give a sponsor control over reporting, reviews, criticism, product comparisons, reader submissions, or editorial conclusions.
Launch inventory is handled directly
Launch and founding-partner rates are available directly from The Lunatic Ledger. Packages may include a single placement, multi-issue commitments, presenting sponsorships, community partnerships, or combinations of website and newsletter inventory as those channels are activated.
We are not publishing inflated audience projections or generic rate-card promises before the publication has established its live circulation and traffic. Availability and pricing will be quoted based on the position, campaign length, creative requirements, and fit with the readership.
Ask about launch availability, recurring sponsorships, and preferred placement before the first issue inventory is fully committed.
Tell us who you are, what you want to promote, and which position interests you. We will use that information to start the conversation.
